FAQs

We have compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help you make better investment decisions.

What is a debt investment?

A debt investment is a loan to an organization that must be paid back with interest. A debt investment does not give you a share in the organization you’re investing in.

What is an equity investment?

An equity investment is a purchase of a company’s shares in the stock market, resulting in the investor earning a portion of the company’s profits and assets.

Can you guarantee I'll get a return on my investment?

Though certain investments are safer or have a greater likelihood of high returns than others, nothing is guaranteed. There is always some measure of risk in investing, and we will work with you to make the best investments at the level of risk you’re comfortable with.

How do I earn money through investing?

Investors make money through interest payments for debt investments or dividend distributions for equity investments. EJ Capital pays out cash distributions on a monthly basis.

What is an investment Liaison?

An investment liaison is a person or entity who manages a portfolio of investments on behalf of a client.

How do I protect my assets?

An investment liaison is a person or entity who manages a portfolio of investments on behalf of a client.

Is EJ Capital a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)?

EJ Capital is not an REIT. An REIT owns income properties and offers stock options, mutual funds, or exchange trade funds to investors. REIT stockholders will earn a share of the income without having to directly invest in property. Unlike REITs, EJ Capital does not own property. Rather, we manage real estate investment portfolios on behalf of our clients.

What kind of investments can I make?

EJ Capital specializes in providing debt and equity investments for start-ups and real estate.
